Chapter History

The Phi Mu Rho Iota chapter was established in 2011. We started with a  small class of 97 women and have grown to over 200 women within our chapter. Our overall mission as a chapter is to form friendships, achieve high academic excellence, and grow into the best versions of ourselves.

Outside of our sorority, our chapter members are involved in over 55 campus organizations. These include academic honors, campus jobs, service organizations, sports and recreations, ambassador programs and many other organizations.

This past fall (2017), we recruited our largest phi class of 104 women. We were so excited to have recruited these amazing, dedicated young women.

We love our beautiful house that was opened in 2015, which is home to 50 of our members. We all adore our house mom, Momma Candace.

We are so proud of how much we’ve grown and where our chapter is headed.
